Zac43 Foundation

Unfortunately drug and alcohol addiction is a disease that affects many. The Zac43 Foundation was founded by Chris and Jennifer Burton to commemorate their son Zac, and to use his story to help others either suffering from the disease or who have lost loved ones. There is a negative stigma surrounding addiction and the opioid epidemic and the Zac43 Foundation provides not only a safe space to seek out information but an entire family offering love and support. It can be a tough transition for those fresh out of rehabilitation so additionally the foundation provides necessary funding for those that are beginning to return to normal. Ertel & Company is devoted to supporting this initiative and eventually burying the stigma.

It is very difficult to put in words how the loss of our special Zac has impacted our family. His spirit continues to be with us every day. We have been able to do this with an abundance of love and support by so many - we are very grateful.
